In the September 19, 2019 Racing Commission meeting the Ohio State Racing Commission passed Resolution 2019-07 effective January 1, 2020. The Resolution provides updates to the classification of prohibited substances, to include methods of detection, regulatory thresholds, recommended penalties, and disciplinary measures for the presence of substances in test samples. In anticipation of the changes horsemen are encouraged to utilize Selective Testing through the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s testing lab. Included in the release are the form and details for submission.
