Charlie May will return to the Mahoning County Fair in Canfield, Ohio, to defend his crown in the 2026 Signature Series Canfield Pacing Derby.
The 8-year-old McArdle gelding equaled the Canfield all-age pacing track record in the 2025 race, winning in 1:53.3, matching the mark set by Tan Man in 2023.
The Canfield Pacing Derby is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 7. First-race post time for that day’s card is 11 a.m.
