| September 18, 2010 Delaware radio station WINF (101.9 FM) will broadcast all of the harness races during the Delaware County Fair culminating with Thursday’s 65th Little Brown Jug. The broadcast will be streamed online at www.winf.fm for listeners around the world. Hosting the broadcast will be Don Berman and Dean Hoffman, two harness racing experts from central Ohio. Herman has been an owner and longtime fan while Hoffman was executive editor of Hoof Beats magazine for almost 25 years. Hoffman isalso a columnist for several harness racing magazines. Berman and Hoffman will be giving handicapping tips for each race as well as doing interviews with drivers, trainers and owners. Roger Huston, the voice of the Little Brown Jug for more than 40 years, will also make his handicapping selections each day. Huston’s calls will be part of the broadcast. Coverage of Grand Circuit racing at the Delaware Fairgrounds begins each day about 30 minutes before post time. That will be 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, and 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. |
