Casino Developer Confirms Delphi Site
January 20, 2010
About 45 minutes before announcing plans to move its casino development from the Arena District, Penn National Gaming Inc. signed an option to buy the former Delphi auto-parts plant along W. Broad Street, company President Tim Wilmott said this morning.
"This was all done in the last 30 days," he said.
Wilmott said he wants a Columbus casino to be the first to open in Ohio. The constitutional amendment approved in November allows for casinos in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati and Toledo. |
